The second edition of the JustNet Transport Summit will hold on Friday, October 23, at Providence Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, with stakeholders expected to discuss strategies for strengthening Nigeria’s transportation, energy and trade sectors.
The summit, organised by JustAlive Communications Ltd., publishers of JustNet News, is themed: “Navigating Global Disruptions and the Road Ahead: Mobility, Energy and Trade Facilitation for a Resilient Future.”
It is expected to bring together policymakers, regulators, industry leaders and private-sector operators to explore solutions to emerging challenges affecting transportation infrastructure, energy security and trade facilitation.
Mrs Pearl Ngwama, Chief Executive Officer of JustAlive Communications Ltd., said all arrangements had been concluded for the event.
Ngwama expressed confidence that the summit would provide a platform for meaningful discussions and generate practical recommendations for developing Nigeria’s transportation sector.
She listed the personalities expected at the summit to include the Chairman of the occasion, Enisuoh of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited; transport and aviation expert, Dr Richard Aisuebeogun; energy-sector stakeholder, Thomas Ogungbangbe; and transport industry professional, Femi Aiyegbajeje.
According to her, their participation is expected to enrich discussions on the interrelationship between transportation, energy and trade, particularly amid global disruptions, rising operational costs and changing market dynamics.
Ngwama said the summit would also examine the need for stronger collaboration among government agencies, regulators, investors and private operators to address structural challenges across the transport value chain.
She said the engagement would provide opportunities for stakeholders to exchange ideas, build partnerships and explore strategies for improving efficiency, resilience and competitiveness in Nigeria’s transportation and related sectors.
The summit is expected to produce practical insights to support sustainable growth and strengthen the capacity of the country’s transport industry to respond to evolving global economic challenges.
