United Nigeria Airlines (UNA) has announced the appointment of Prof. Madubuko Tochukwu Victor as a Director on its Board, effective January 1, 2026.

The appointment was approved at the Extraordinary General Meeting held on December 30, 2025, reflecting UNA’s ongoing commitment to strengthening corporate governance, deepening strategic leadership capacity, and supporting its expansion programme.

Prof. Madubuko is a seasoned global executive with more than 20 years of experience driving organisational growth across entrepreneurship, international business, education, and public service.

He is the Chief Executive Officer of Chilanna Holdings LLC in Miami, Chairman of The Moonshine Contractors Ltd, and Managing Partner of CareerNation, a U.S.-based human capital consulting firm operating across multiple states.

He holds a Master’s degree in Management from The New School and a Bachelor’s degree in International Law from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, and is certified as a Senior Human Resources Professional (SHRM-SCP) and a Registered Organisation Development Consultant. Prof. Madubuko brings extensive international and cross-cultural expertise to the Board.

According to UNA’s management, his appointment is in line with efforts to strengthen the airlines corporate governance structure and broaden the membership of it’s Board in line with strategic expansion programme.
